Cliff Bishop joined Brady Ware’s Mergers & Acquisitions team in 2004 and is President of Brady Ware Capital. Cliff has more than 20 years of experience working with middle-market companies. Formerly a Senior Vice President in commercial banking with a large regional bank, Cliff provides creative solutions relating to mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising projects. Cliff’s creativity combined with his extensive experience in structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions equates to exceptional results for Brady Ware clients.
Cliff earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Indiana University and his MBA from the University of Dayton. He also holds the Series 7 and 24 securities registrations. Cliff was chosen as one of Dayton’s “Forty Under 40” business leader award recipients and is a graduate of Leadership Dayton.
Cliff is an active volunteer/board member with the YMCA of Metropolitan Dayton and currently serves as the Chair of its Board of Directors. He has also been a volunteer for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Miami Valley and Junior Achievement in the Dayton Public Schools.
Stephen’s prior experience in industry was as the CEO and owner of a Southwest Ohio based facilities supply company. After purchasing the business, he was successful in growing revenue and profitability before selling the company to a Midwest-based distributor. Prior to owning this business, he served as an executive and owner of Winsupply, a Forbes 200 Private Company with revenue exceeding $2.4 billion. While at Winsupply, Stephen had operational responsibility for multiple acquisitions from the search criteria process, negotiation, and purchase to integration of the acquired organizations into the Winsupply system of companies. Prior to joining Winsupply, he started his career as CPA at a regional accounting firm where he served a variety of privately owned businesses.
Stephen will leverage his experience as a leader and owner of middle market companies to assist family-owned businesses and management teams in maximizing the value of their investments. Specifically, he will guide business owners through the sale of their business or assist them in securing the liquidity needed to grow their business.
Stephen currently serves on the Board of Advisors of four small to mid-market privately held companies. He graduated from Miami University with a BS degree in Accounting and obtained his CPA. He resides in Columbus with his wife Ann and is also the Girls High School Golf Coach for a Columbus-area high school.
Roger Furrer joined Brady Ware’s Mergers and Acquisition team in 2016 and is a Director at Brady Ware Capital. He has more than 30 years of experience in banking, where he led teams that focused on middle-market companies.
Roger leverages his banking experience with middle market companies to help family-owned businesses and management teams maximize the value of their investments. Specifically, he guides business owners through the sale of their business, or assists them in securing the liquidity needed to grow their business.
Grant conducts detailed market and business analysis, creates financial models for valuing businesses on an acquisition basis, conducts due diligence for transactions, and assists in the capital raising and refinancing process for Brady Ware Capital. In addition, Grant works closely with Brady Ware & Company’s valuation services by assisting with business valuations for tax purposes, litigation support, and mergers & acquisitions.
Grant joined Brady Ware Capital as an intern in 2018 and transitioned to a full-time position within the firm in 2019. He previously interned at a global wealth management firm conducting security analysis, a local CPA firm performing tax and audit services, and at Wright State University as a business services accounting intern.
Brad has 23 years of middle-market commercial banking experience assisting family-owned businesses and their management teams in maximizing the value of their businesses. He guides business owners through the sale of their businesses or assists them in securing the liquidity needed to grow their businesses. And he’s experienced in Special Situations advisory, which will assist clients undergoing a financial turnaround or debt restructuring.
Brad was previously the President of Commercial Banking for First Financial Bank, serving as a key member of the bank’s executive leadership team, leading all commercial middle market banking activities across the bank’s footprint of Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Prior to his most recent role, Brad was President of Specialty Finance where he founded First Financial Business Capital, a lending division of First Financial Bank focused on providing merger and acquisition financing to middle market entrepreneurial owned companies. Earlier in his career, Brad worked in Asset Based Lending and Special Assets at regional banking institutions gaining expertise in turnarounds and debt restructurings, as well as distressed loan sales.
Brad is a CPA and is a graduate of Miami University, Oxford Ohio with a BS degree in Accounting. He resides in Mason, Ohio, with his wife Jennifer and four children.
Todd R. Roberts, CPA
President, Brady Ware Capital Finance
Todd is a member of Brady Ware Capital where he assists companies by providing services related to mergers, acquisitions, financing, and due diligence to business owners and entrepreneurs. Todd believes in staying current on the trends in middle–market deals and offering his vast financial and strategic knowledge to help our clients obtain the best deals. Todd is also the President of Brady Ware Capital Finance.
Todd is a member of The American Institute of CPAs and The Ohio Society of CPAs. He sits on the board of the Ohio Valley Construction Education Foundation. He was elected as “Associate Member of the Year” in 2001 from the Home Builders Association and was also chosen as one of Dayton’s “40 under 40” Business Leader Award recipients.
Keith Warner joined Brady Ware’s Mergers and Acquisitions team in 2006 and is manager of Brady Ware Capital. He has more than 12 years of experience working with privately owned middle-market companies, including six years working in commercial banking with a large regional bank. Keith holds the series 62 and 24.
