Stephen Ford Joins Brady Ware Capital
Stephen Ford has joined Brady Ware Capital as a Director and will be leading the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Debt Placement efforts in the Columbus, Ohio, market.
Stephen’s prior experience in industry was as the CEO and owner of a Southwest Ohio based facilities supply company. After purchasing the business, he was successful in growing revenue and profitability before selling the company to a Midwest-based distributor. Prior to owning this business, he served as an executive and owner of Winsupply, a Forbes 200 Private Company with revenue exceeding $2.4 billion. While at Winsupply, Stephen had operational responsibility for multiple acquisitions from the search criteria process, negotiation, and purchase to integration of the acquired organizations into the Winsupply system of companies. Prior to joining Winsupply, he started his career as CPA at a regional accounting firm where he served a variety of privately owned businesses.
Stephen will leverage his experience as a leader and owner of middle market companies to assist family-owned businesses and management teams in maximizing the value of their investments. Specifically, he will guide business owners through the sale of their business or assist them in securing the liquidity needed to grow their business.
Stephen is excited to be joining the Brady Ware Capital, LLC team. “I believe my past experience of both being part of larger national company acquiring organizations as well as the owner of a middle-market Ohio-based company that sold to a regional organization will help me guide our clients through the process,” he says. “I have lived the experience as an owner from both sides of the table.”
Stephen currently serves on the Board of Advisors of four small to mid-market privately held companies. He graduated from Miami University with a BS degree in Accounting and obtained his CPA. He resides in Columbus with his wife Ann and is also the Girls High School Golf Coach for a Columbus-area high school.
